"IEG" was founded 19.10.1987. The founder and owner is Mirko Drljača. At first name meant "Development of electric heaters, but thanks to the wishes and ambitions of the owner, IEG slowly grew into what is today and that is the "Industry of Electric Heaters". Beginning of the study was related to the space in the attic of the family home on mountain Avala. After several years of independent work, around 1991-92, the number of employees involved in the process increases with the number of people and need for space, equipment and all related elements, which requires industrial production of heaters. During this period, the market is looking for a reliable and quality manufacturer and "IEG" saw his chance. Back in 1999th production hall was completed on Avala near the house which was completely subordinated to production, and then came to a large 800m ² usable workspace. With hall came and modern machines for tubular electric heaters from Swedish manufacturer "Khantal" from which IEG still has a very high quality and successful collaboration. This machine manufacturers were selected based on experience and advice of one of the world's largest manufacturer of electric heaters "Backer" and whose experiences are largely conditioned and high-quality and stable development of IEG's. Development then continued more intensely, fully mastered the new machines and equipment, have increased and objectives so we started the cooperation with large companies that use electric heaters such as the "Bosch", "Koncar", "HSBC".... The area which is obtained very quickly became insufficient, and in 2006 came the move from the Avala in renovated hall in Leštane where IEG is now. There is available space of more than 2200m ². Now, all the ancillary services located in one place, which allowed for further improvements of quality work. That this is well and good witness the fact that no serious water heater manufacturers in the region that does not use IEG heaters for the first installation in your water heater (Bosch, Metalac, Termorad, Dom, Rank). Also in the product mix and oven heaters for all domestic and many foreign manufacturers of stoves, heaters, barbique heaters, boiler heaters, heaters kaloriferski .... Also in offer is a large number of special purpose heaters to handle so many other industries.

IEG is the largest manufacturer of electric heaters in the region and the other is different in that it has a very rare materials for special applications in these fields of industry (special stainless steel material known as Incoloy in different versions). And all other materials used are of the best manufacturers with the best features (Khantal wire to create a spiral, the best filling MgO heater .....)
